หากใครจำเหตุกรณ์ เมื่อตอนที่ไข้หวัด 2009 ระบาดได้จะพบว่าตอนนั้นมีพืชชนิดหนึ่ง ที่ได้รับกระแสความนิยม นั่นคือสมุนไพรไทยที่ชื่อฟ้าทะลายโจร ถึงขนาดกระทรวงสาธารณะสุขออกมาส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนปลูกและใช้
และมีการทำยาลักษณะแคปซูลออกมาขายมากมาย วันนี้เรามารู้จักพืชชนิดนี้กันนะครับ
ข้อมูลทั่วไป
ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ Andrographis paniculata Wall. ex Ness.
สกุล ACANTHACEAE
ชื่อเรียกตามท้องถิ่น
ฟ้าทะลายโจร น้ำลายพังพอน (กรุงเทพฯ) ฟ้าสาง (ชลบุรี) หญ้ากันงู (สงขลา) สามสิบดี (ร้อยเอ็ด) ฟ้าสะท้าน (พัทลุง) เขยตายยายคลุม (อ.โพธาราม) เมฆทะลาย (ยะลา) เรียกได้ว่ามีชื่อเรียกหลากหลายทีเดียว
ลักษณะของพืชชนิดนี้
ต้น เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ที่มีลำต้นตั้งตรง ส่วนปลายกิ่งเป็นสี่เหลี่ยม จะแตกกิ่งก้านออก เฉพาะด้านข้างเท่านั้น กิ่งก้านมีสีเขียว และ จะสูงประมาณ 30-60 ซม.
ใบ ออกใบเดี่ยว ลักษณะของใบแคบ ตรงปลายและโคนใบแหลม ผิวใบเป็นมันมีสี เขียว
ดอก ออกเป็นช่อตามง่ามใบ และส่วน ยอดของต้น ลักษณะของดอกเป็นหลอด ปลาย ดอกแยกออกเป็น 5 กลีบ สีขาว หรืออมม่วง อ่อนๆ ดอกจะแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ปาก ที่ปากบน แยกออกเป็น 3 กลีบ ล่าง 2 กลีบ มีกลีบ เลี้ยง 5 กลีบ
ผล คล้ายกับผลของต้นต้อยติ่ง แต่มี ขนาดเล็กและสั้นกว่า ผลนี้จะตั้งมุมก้านดอก เมื่อผลแก่เต็มที่ก็แตกออกเป็นสองซีกทำให้ มองเห็นเมล็ดภายในสีน้ำตาลแบนๆ มีอยู่จำนวนมาก
การขยายพันธุ์ เป็นไม้กลางแจ้ง ขึ้นได้ ในดินทุกชนิด และจะปลูกได้ทุกฤดูกาลด้วย ขยายพันธุ์ด้วยเมล็ด
ส่วนที่ใช้ ทั้งต้น (สด- แห้ง) และใบ
สรรพคุณ
ใบ รักษาแผลน้ำร้อนลวก แก้ไฟไหม้ โดยการนำมาบดผสมกับน้ำมันพืชใช้ทาตรง บริเวณที่เป็นแผล
ใบและทั้งต้น แก้บิดชนิดติดเชื้อ แก้ทางเดิน อาหารอักเสบ แก้หวัด แก้ทอนซิล แก้ปอด อักเสบ เรียกได้ว่าเรื่องของหวัดไข้ แก้ได้อย่างครบวงจรเลยทีเดียว แก้อาการท้องเดิน โดยใช้ต้น แห้งประมาณ 1 – 3 กำมือเอามาหั่น แล้วต้ม กับน้ำดื่ม ส่วนเป็นยาแก้ไข้นั้นให้ใช้ครั้งละ 1 กำมือ ต้มกับน้ำดื่มเวลามีอาการ หรือก่อน อาหารเช้าเย็นและถ้าเป็นโรคภายนอก
วิธีการทำยาเค็ปซูล นำใบมาตากแห้ง บดให้ละเอียด และนำมาบรรจุในแคปซูลเปล่าเพื่อรับประทาน(แคบซูลเปล่าหาซื้อได้ที่ร้านขายยาทั่วไป)
