วันนี้เราพูดถึงพืชชนิดหนึ่งกัน เป็นพืชทั่วๆไป ที่พบได้ง่าย(ตาม concept ของเว็บเรา )แต่เปี่ยมไปด้วยสรรพคุณของสมุนไพรไทย พืชชนิดนั้นก็คือมะเฟืองนั่นเองครับ คิดว่าหลายท่านคงเคยทานกันมาแล้วบ้าง วันนี้เราจะมาเจาะลึกถึงมะเฟืองกัน มาดูกันว่า มะเฟืองที่แสนธรรมดา แฝงคุณค่าความเป็นสมุนไพรไทยอะไรให้เราบ้าง ซึ่งตามธรรมเนียมนิยมอยากรู้จักใคร หรืออยากรู้จักอะไรต้องรู้จักชื่อเสียงเรียงนามกันก่อน งั้นเริ่มที่ชื่อต่างๆ ของมะเฟืองแล้วกันนะครับ
ชื่อโดยทั่วไป มะเฟือง Star fruit (star = ดาว ตรงตัวดีไหมครับ ถ้ามองทั้งลูกไม่ออกว่ามะเฟืองเหมือนดาวยังไง แนะนำให้ผ่าตามขวางดูแล้วจะรู้)
ชื่อทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของมะเฟือง acerrhoa carambola L.
ชื่อวงศ์ AVERRHOACEAE
ลักษณะโดยทั่วไปของต้นมะเฟือง
- ลำต้น มะเฟืองจัดเป็นไม้ยืนต้น ขนาดกลาง ไม่สูงไม่เตี้ย ประมาณ 3-10 เมตร ลำต้นเปราะแตกง่าย
- ใบมะเฟือง มะเฟืองมีใบประกอบขนนก มองไปมองมาก็ดูคล้ายใบของต้นมะยม
- ดอก มะเฟืองมีดอกสี ม่วงขาว ออกไปทางชมพู ดอกจะออกเป็นพวง
- ผลของมะเฟือง เมื่อเริ่มออกผลจะเป้นสีเขียว แต่พอเริ่มสุขจะค่อยๆเป็นสีเหลือง(แต่ขอบของผลโดยมากจะยังเป็นสีเขียว) มะเฟืองมีผลฉ่ำน้ำ มีรสเปรี้ยว อมหวาน
สรรพคุณด้านสมุนไพรไทยของมะเฟือง
มะเฟืองมีสรรพคุณอยู่หลายด้าน อาทิเช่น แก้ร้อนใน บำรุงธาตุ บำรุงร่างกาย แก้อ่อนเหลีย ลดความร้อนในร่างกาย ขับเสมหะ ป้องกันโรคโลหิตจาง ขับปัสสาวะ รักษาโรคเลือดออกตามไรฟัน ทำให้ร่างกายผ่อนคลายและช่วยให้นอนหลับ บรรเทานิ่วในทางเดินปัสสาวะ เป็นไงหละครับเยอะดีไหม
ในการบรรเทาอาการที่ได้กล่าวมา ผู้รู้ได้ให้ข้อแนะนำเพิ่มดังนี้
– การรับประทานมะเฟืองสด เวลาเกิดอาการ เช่นทานเพื่อบรระเทาอาการปัสสาวะขัด ควรทานมะเฟืองหรือน้ำมะเฟืองติดต่อกันประมาณ 15 วันเป็นอย่างน้อย หรือจนกว่าอาการจะดีขึ้น

– มะเฟืองสามผล จะคั้นน้ำได้มากถึง 1 แก้ว ก่อนทานแนะนำให้เติมเกลือเล็กน้อย จะทำให้ทานง่ายขึ้น
