เมื่อไม่นานนี้เอง ผมได้มีโอกาศไปเที่ยวทะเล เวลาไปเที่ยวทะเลนอกจากหาดทรายสวยๆ น้ำใสๆแล้ว ก็นึกขึ้นมาได้ ว่าการลงเล่นน้ำ เราอาจต้องเพิ่มความระมัดวังนึดนึงหากต้องไปทักทายกับสัตว์โลกผู้น่ารักอย่าง แมงกะพรุนไฟเข้า
สัตว์จำพวกแมงกะพรุนไฟนั้น มีพิษที่เหล็กใน ซึ่งอยู่ที่บริเวณหนวดเส้นเล็ก ๆ และซึ่งจะปล่อยออกมาแทงผิวหนังของคน ทำให้ปวดแสบปวดร้อนไปนาน ผิวหนังบริเวณนั้นจะบวมเป็นผื่นแดง อาการมากน้อยขึ้นอยู่กับแต่ละคน ใครเจอเหตุการณ์แบบนี้กับตัว จะไปหายามาทาหรือพาไปหาหมอคงอาจต้องใช้เวลานานหน่อย แต่เราสามารถปฐมพยาบาลด้วย ตัวเองได้ ด้วยพืชสมุนไพรไทย ที่พบได้ง่ายบริเวณนั้น ใช่แล้วครับ พระเอกของเรื่องในวันนี้คือ ผักบุ้งทะเลนั่นเอง

ลักษณะของผักบุ้งทะเล
ส่วนลำต้น เป็นไม้ล้มลุก เลื้อยไปตามพื้นทรายหรือพื้นดิน ชอบขึ้นพื้นที่ใกล้ทะเล หรือตามชายหาดต่างๆ ทั้งต้นมีน้ำยางสีขาว
ลักษณะใบ เป็นใบเดี่ยว แผ่นใบจะกว้าง โคนใบจะเป็นรูปหัวใจ ปลายใบเว้าลึก
ลักษณะดอก ดอกจะออกเป็นช่อ 5 ถึง 6 ดอก กลีบดอกสีชมพูอมม่วง กลีบดอกติดกันบานคล้ายปากแตร (ลักษณะคล้ายผักบุ้งนามาก) ดอกจะบานตอนเช้า บ่ายๆจะหุบและเหี่ยว
สรรพคุณด้านสมุนไพรไทยของผักบุ้งทะเล
- ใช้แก้พิษแมงกระพรุนไฟได้ โดยหากถูกแมงกระพรุนไฟหากมีต้นผักบุ้งทะเลขึ้นแถวนั้นให้ใช้วิธีการดังนี้
- เมื่อถูกแมงกะพรุนไฟในตอนแรก ให้ใช้ทรายที่หาดนั้นถูบนผิวหนังเบาๆ เพื่อขัดเอาน้ำเมือก ๆ จากตัวแมงกะพรุนไฟบนผิวหนังออกล้างด้วยน้ำทะเล ห้ามใช้น้ำจืด
- ให้ใช้ขยำต้นและใบผักบุ้งทะเลให้ได้วุ้นลื่นๆ (ขยี้เหมือนเราซักผ้านั่นแหละ) แล้วนำมาพอกแผล เหตุที่ผักบุ้งทะเลมีฤทธิ์เป็นสมุนไพรในการรักษาพิษแมงกระพรุนไฟได้เนื่องจาก ในใบผักบุ้งทะเลมีสาร โวลาไทน์ เอสเตอร์ (Volatile Ester) สามรถลดอาการปวดอักเสบ ปวดแสบปวดร้อนจากพิษแมงกระพรุนได้ นอกจากนั้นยังมีสารแอินตี้ ฮิสตามีน(antihistamine) สามรถต้านอาการแพ้ได้อีกด้วย
- หากอาการยังไม่บรรเทา เช่นปวดมากควรทานยาแก้ปวด และควรนำส่งโรงพยาบาล
